PURVAI

‘Purvai’ sari is made through the joinery of textiles: sheer organza and silk, which allows for a better suited drape and fall. The organza has zardozi and aari hand-embroidered floral butis in gold and silver. The sari is worn with ‘Vimala’ satin silk blouse with embroidered guldasta of flowers on the bodice that draws from the inlay work seen in Rajputana and Mughal architecture.

The sari is paired here with the 'Umrao' blouse. 

Blouse worn by the model is not included.

Natural variations in colours and weave are part of the textile, as it is handwoven.
